• Spain launched in mid-2025 a public employment offer to add 2,700 new Guardia Civil officers nationwide.
• On July 8, 396 recruits from the 130th Baeza Academy and 170th/171st Valdemoro College began a 40-week field training in Granada, Asturias and Castilla-La Mancha.
• Granada welcomed 142 trainees, Asturias 48—15 more than last year—and Castilla-La Mancha 206 as part of regional security reinforcements.
• The structured practice phase embeds recruits in territorial companies and specialist units, including Traffic, Fiscal and Borders, under professional supervision.
• Castilla-La Mancha has assigned its recruits to Toledo, Guadalajara, Albacete, Ciudad Real and Cuenca to support crime-reduction efforts.
