Overview
- Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey said Thursday that covering Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins is an "all-hands-on-deck" assignment and called Sunday’s game the team’s biggest test yet.
- Ja'Marr Chase has produced large totals versus Baltimore across their meetings, with cumulative figures of 77 catches for 1,245 yards and eight touchdowns cited in past coverage.
- Next Gen Stats show Chase has lined up against Humphrey more than any defender since 2021, with 83 tracked reps that include 14 catches on 21 targets for 318 yards and two interceptions by Humphrey in those matchups.
- Baltimore’s offensive line struggled early after multiple center injuries forced lineup shifts, but the team traded for Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens and now says its starting five is finally set for the game.
- Cincinnati has reinforced its defensive front this offseason with Dexter Lawrence, Boye Mafe and Jonathan Allen, so the game will hinge on whether the Ravens can limit big passing plays and open running lanes for Derrick Henry.
