Overview
- Governor Rubén Rocha Moya officially opened the new bridge over the Humaya River and its 230-meter paving connection to Boulevard Santa Fe on July 17.
- The project commanded an investment of over 256.9 million pesos, was completed in 14 months and generated 996 direct and indirect jobs.
- The crossing features two vehicular lanes per direction, bidirectional bike lanes, wide sidewalks, traffic signals, public lighting, landscaping and pedestrian ramps.
- Officials say the link will cut travel times to key destinations such as Ciudad Universitaria and provide direct routes toward Guamúchil, Mochis and Mazatlán.
- The inauguration highlights the administration’s Plan Sinaloa Nos Une, which aims to modernize infrastructure across all 20 municipalities of the state.
