Overview

• Human remains were recovered on June 2 from a garden on Princes Street, Normanton, as part of the long-running inquiry into Zablocka’s 2010 disappearance.
• The 39-year-old suspect was first arrested on May 24, released on bail and then re-arrested on suspicion of murder after the remains emerged.
• A 48-year-old man arrested on June 2 was released on bail, and two women aged 39 and 43 plus a 41-year-old man from earlier inquiries remain on bail.
• Detective Inspector Kane Martin said officers are working to confirm the identity of the remains and establish what happened to Zablocka after she moved to the UK in 2009.
