Overview
- Walker Geraint Lewis discovered white teeth, a skull and other bones near Nash Point lighthouse during a Christmas Day stroll.
- He photographed the find, contacted police and attempted to reach Cardiff University following the discovery.
- On January 14 the remains were still visible on the foreshore, and the finder said he was surprised the area was not cordoned off.
- Lewis believed some bones may have been removed since his initial visit, though officials have not confirmed this.
- South Wales Police said natural erosion exposed remains in a known burial area and reported that appropriate agencies were informed, with similar finds recorded at Southerndown in 2024 and Monknash in 2019.
