Hulu to Premiere Documentary on 'Rust' Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins

The documentary, titled 'Last Take: Rust and the Story of Halyna,' is directed and produced by Rachel Mason and will premiere on Hulu on March 11, 2025.
The film focuses on the life and legacy of Halyna Hutchins, the cinematographer who was fatally shot on the set of 'Rust' in 2021 when Alec Baldwin's prop gun discharged a live round.
It includes first-hand accounts from individuals present on the set that day, as well as materials from Hutchins' personal archives and public court records.
Rachel Mason aims to shift the narrative from the controversies surrounding the incident to honoring Hutchins' memory and her contributions to the film industry.
The project is one of two documentaries in development about Hutchins, with another film by Rory Kennedy reportedly involving Alec Baldwin's perspective.
