Mindy Kaling is returning to Hulu with a new comedy series titled 'Murray Hill', marking her first solo creation since 'The Mindy Project'.
The series, produced by Warner Bros. TV, received a script-to-series commitment from Hulu after a competitive bidding process.
'Murray Hill' will follow five work-obsessed twenty-somethings in Manhattan's Murray Hill neighborhood, focusing on their professional success and personal happiness.
Kaling will write and executive produce the series, alongside Howard Klein of 3 Arts Entertainment and Jessica Kumai Scott of Kaling International as co-executive producer.
This project continues Kaling's relationship with Hulu, where she previously had success with 'The Mindy Project' and a limited series adaptation of 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'.
