Bollea was pulled over by a sergeant who reported that he showed signs of impairment and performed poorly on field sobriety tests.
He refused to take a breath alcohol content test and was arrested for a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.
Bollea was released later that evening with a $500 bond assessment.
