Hudson’s Detroit Completes 12-Story Office Building, Substantially Leased With GM as Anchor

The finished offices mark steady progress in the phased remake of the former Hudson’s site.

  • The first three floors house the 56,000-square-foot event venue The Department at Hudson’s, retail is opening on the ground level, Nick Gilbert Way plaza debuts Nov. 6, and the adjacent 45-story tower with The Edition hotel and condos is slated for a later opening targeted in 2027.
