Overview
- No trains will run in or out of Huddersfield from August 30 to September 28, with additional closures at Deighton, Mirfield and Ravensthorpe, and no calls at Mossley or Greenfield.
- Rail‑replacement buses will link affected stations and serve Huddersfield, with Brighouse acting as the main interchange for onward rail connections.
- TransPennine Express services between Manchester Victoria and Leeds will be diverted via Brighouse, with other routes starting and terminating at revised stations including Manchester Victoria and Leeds.
- Northern’s Wigan Wallgate–Leeds service will be split, Huddersfield–Bradford trains will be replaced by buses every 15 minutes to Brighouse, and several local stopping patterns will change.
- Huddersfield is scheduled to reopen on September 29 with only platforms 1–3 available, while wider upgrade works continue toward completion in early 2027.
