Overview
- The five brands—AITO (Wenjie), Zhijie, Xiangjie, Zunjie and Shangjie—jointly announced in Shanghai an upgraded partnership centered on standardized platforms and co-built resources.
- The alliance will create what it calls the industry’s first cross-brand shared after-sales service center network and will jointly invest in Harmony Mobility charging stations with a unified account system and charging map.
- Huawei said the new Wenjie M7 has surpassed 100,000 orders with over 40,000 still undelivered, Shangjie H5 has reached 20,000 deliveries after topping 10,000 in 43 days, and Xiangjie S9T preorders have exceeded 30,000 with about 40% female buyers.
- A technology roadmap was set to bring L3/L3+ assisted driving across the lineup in 2026 with ambitions to reach L4 capabilities in 2027, supported by unified quality controls and standardized HarmonyOS cockpit, ADS and Tuling platform components.
- Product plans disclosed include Zhijie’s flagship V9 MPV targeted for spring 2026, a sport-grade SUV that executives said could arrive in autumn or winter, Shangjie’s high-end coupe slated for spring, and a Zunjie ultra-luxury model to debut next year with design completed.
