  • The Vive Eagle is available for pre-order in Taiwan today at NT$15,600 (roughly US$520), with open sales starting September 1 and no word yet on international availability.
  • The display-less Wayfarer-style frames weigh just under 49 grams and house a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 processor alongside 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage under ZEISS UV400 lenses.
  • The integrated VIVE AI assistant supports both Google Gemini and OpenAI’s GPT for hands-free photo capture, note-taking, reminders and real-time translation in 13 languages via voice commands.
  • HTC has designed the glasses with a privacy-first architecture that keeps all audio and video data on-device protected by 256-bit AES encryption.
  • A 235mAh battery delivers up to 36 hours of standby and 4.5 hours of continuous music playback, and fast magnetic charging restores half of capacity in around 10 minutes.
