HSV Fans Attack Köln Supporters in Hamburg, Prompting Outrage

More than 150 masked HSV fans attacked 1. FC Köln supporters outside a bar in Hamburg's St. Pauli district prior to a 2. Bundesliga match on Saturday.
The attack, which included violence against women and elderly individuals, has been widely condemned by both clubs and public officials.
Police detained over 400 individuals for questioning and seized evidence, including masks and clothing linked to the incident.
HSV representatives, including Sport Director Stefan Kuntz, apologized, calling the violence unacceptable and contrary to the club's values.
The Hamburg police and Landeskriminalamt (LKA) have launched an investigation into charges of serious breach of the peace and bodily harm.
