Overview
- HSBC UK raised its Premier switching bonus to £500 for customers who move their current account using the Current Account Switch Service.
- People who applied under the earlier £250 deal will receive the full £500 if they meet the eligibility rules.
- To qualify, applicants must either pay in an annual personal salary of at least £100,000 or hold £100,000 or more in savings or investments with HSBC UK.
- The offer applies to Premier accounts opened on or after 23 March 2026, and a full switch must complete within 90 days of opening.
- Existing or recent HSBC UK or first direct current account holders from 1 January 2025 do not qualify, and the bank says it can withdraw the promotion without notice.
