HP Unveils AI-Centric OmniBook Ultra 14 at CES 2026 With Intel Version Shipping in January

The flagship trades last year’s AMD chips for Intel Panther Lake or an HP-exclusive Snapdragon X2 Elite rated at 85 TOPS for on-device AI.

  • The Intel-equipped OmniBook Ultra 14 is slated to arrive this month with a starting price of $1,549.99, according to HP.
  • The Snapdragon X2 Elite configuration is planned for spring 2026 with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
  • The 14-inch model supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to a 2TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD, and it uses a 2880 x 1800 OLED touchscreen at up to 120Hz.
  • Both configurations use integrated graphics and introduce a compact vapor-chamber cooling system, with HP touting battery life up to 20 hours or up to 30 hours on select Qualcomm setups.
  • HP is refreshing the wider OmniBook family, with 3, 5, 7, and X series models offering varied sizes, Intel/AMD/Snapdragon options, and some OLED displays rolling out from February into spring.
