- The restriction runs from 05:00 to 22:00 and applies to vehicles with verification holograms 1 and 2 in the yellow group.
- Exempt vehicles include those with holograms 00 or 0, electric and hybrid cars, taxis, motorcycles, public transport, heavy cargo and authorized health units.
- The program is enforced across the 16 Mexico City boroughs and participating State of Mexico municipalities, with the scheme also active in Hidalgo, Morelos, Puebla, Querétaro and Tlaxcala.
- In CDMX, violations can result in fines of 20 to 30 UMAs—about 2,074.80 to 3,112.20 pesos—and possible impoundment under traffic regulations.
