Overview
- Saturday’s rules apply across Mexico City, 18 conurbated Edomex municipalities, the Toluca metropolitan area and Santiago Tianguistenco following the January expansion.
- Vehicles with hologram 1 whose plates end in 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 must not circulate, while all hologram 2 vehicles are restricted throughout the day.
- Foreign-plated cars are included in the Saturday restriction window of 05:00 to 22:00 under the sabatino scheme.
- Exemptions include vehicles with hologram 00 or 0, electric and hybrid cars, motorcycles, public transport, taxis, emergency units and authorized health worker permits, except if a contingency broadens limits.
- Authorities report regular operation with no Doble Hoy No Circula in effect, enforcement includes fines calculated in UMAs and possible impoundment, and drivers can verify status at hoynocircula.cdmx.gob.mx.
