• For Friday, August 29, vehicles with blue sticker and plates ending in 9 or 0 carrying verification hologram 1 or 2 are restricted from 5:00 to 22:00, with regular measures in place.
• The program applies in Mexico City and in Estado de México municipalities including Ecatepec, Naucalpan, Nezahualcóyotl, Tlalnepantla, Tultitlán, and Toluca, among others.
• Exempt vehicles include those with holograms 00 and 0, electric and hybrid units, taxis, public and cargo transport, motorcycles, and health workers’ vehicles with an authorized card.
• In CDMX, noncompliance can lead to vehicle impoundment and a fine of 2,074.80 to 3,112.20 pesos under the Traffic Regulations.
• Looking ahead to Saturday, August 30, the restriction applies to vehicles with hologram 2 and to foreign-plated cars, with a fifth-Saturday variation allowing hologram 1 to circulate.
