Overview
- Vehicles with a green sticker, plate endings 1 and 2, and verification hologram 1 or 2 are prohibited from circulating from 5:00 to 22:00 this Thursday across Mexico City and 18 conurbated State of Mexico municipalities.
- Exempt vehicles include those with hologram 00 or 0, electric and hybrid cars, motorcycles, taxis, public transport and cargo units, and cars for people with disabilities or authorized health workers.
- The city air monitor reported bad air quality at 06:00 due to PM10 and advised limiting outdoor activity between 13:00 and 19:00, especially for children and older adults.
- A civic‑military parade is scheduled to start at 10:00 from the Zócalo along 5 de Mayo, Eje Central and Avenida Juárez to the Monument to the Revolution, with suggested alternates including Eje 1 Norte, Eje 1 Oriente, José María Izazaga, Fray Servando, Circuito Interior and Avenida Chapultepec.
- A separate Generación Z march is announced for 11:00 from the Ángel de la Independencia via Avenida Juárez, Eje Central and 5 de Mayo to the Zócalo, and violations of driving limits risk traffic stops, tow‑yard transfer and fines reported from about 2,074 to 3,394 pesos.
