Hoy No Circula in Mexico City Area: Saturday, Nov. 8 Restrictions From 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Sedema is applying the rotating Saturday ban based on verification hologram and plate number to curb vehicle emissions across the metro region.

Overview

  • From 05:00 to 22:00, Hologram 1 vehicles with even last digits (0, 2, 4, 6, 8) and all Hologram 2 vehicles may not circulate in the Mexico City metropolitan area.
  • Hologram 1 vehicles with odd last digits and those with Holograms 00 or 0 are permitted to circulate on this date.
  • The rules cover all 16 boroughs of Mexico City and 18 adjacent municipalities in the State of Mexico, including Atizapán, Ecatepec, Naucalpan, Nezahualcóyotl and Tlalnepantla.
  • Out‑of‑state or foreign‑plated vehicles do not follow local plate rotation and are barred every Saturday from 05:00 to 22:00, with additional weekday limits from 05:00 to 11:00.
  • Drivers can verify their status on hoynocircula.cdmx.gob.mx, and violations carry reported fines of 20–30 UMAs.
