- The rule runs from 5:00 to 22:00 across all 16 Mexico City boroughs and 18 conurbated State of Mexico municipalities, with homologated neighboring-state plates subject to the same criteria if verification is current.
- Vehicles with a blue sticker and plates ending in 9 or 0 bearing verification hologram 1 or 2, as well as cars on provisional permits, must not circulate.
- Exemptions include holograms 0 and 00, electric or hybrid cars, public transport, taxis, motorcycles, emergency vehicles, and authorized health workers.
