Overview
- Friday, Jan. 16: vehicles with verification holograms 1 and 2 bearing the blue sticker and plates ending in 9 or 0 cannot circulate from 05:00 to 22:00.
- Saturday, Jan. 17 (Sabatino): all hologram 2 and out-of-state vehicles are restricted, and hologram 1 cars with odd-number plates (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) are barred from 05:00 to 22:00.
- The program applies throughout Mexico City and in multiple State of Mexico municipalities, with formal extensions covering the Valle de Toluca and Tianguistenco areas.
- Exemptions on regular days include vehicles with holograms 00 and 0, electric and certain hybrid cars, motorcycles, public transport, emergency units, and authorized health workers.
- Penalties include 20–30 UMAs in CDMX with possible towing to the corralón, and about 20 UMAs in Edomex; no Doble Hoy No Circula is reported, and drivers should confirm their status or request permits at hoynocircula.cdmx.gob.mx.
