Overview
- Vehicles with verification holograms 1 and 2, red sticker, and license plates ending in 3 or 4 are restricted this Wednesday from 05:00 to 22:00.
- Authorities report no environmental contingency for Nov. 12, so the standard schedule is in effect across Mexico City and the State of Mexico.
- Exempt vehicles include those with holograms 00 and 0, electric and hybrid cars, motorcycles, public transport, emergency units, and authorized health personnel.
- Noncompliance can bring fines of 20 to 30 UMAs (roughly 2,000–3,400 pesos) and possible vehicle impoundment, per local enforcement rules.
- The program operates in all 16 CDMX boroughs and 18 Edomex municipalities, with a phased expansion in the Valle de Toluca where fines begin January 1, 2026.
