Hoy No Circula Expansion Enforced Across Mexico City and Estado de México

Overview

  • On Monday, July 7, vehicles with yellow stickers, plate endings 5 and 6, and holograms 1 and 2 are banned from circulation from 05:00 to 22:00.
  • Since July 1, the restrictions cover all 16 alcaldías of Mexico City and new municipalities in Valle de Toluca and Santiago Tianguistenco in Estado de México.
  • Exemptions apply to zero- and double-zero-emission vehicles, electric and hybrid cars, disability-plate holders, and emergency and funeral service vehicles.
