Overview

• The ban applies to vehicles with blue stickers, last plate digits 9 or 0 and verification holograms 1 and 2 in all 16 Mexico City alcaldías and 18 Estado de México municipalities.
• Restrictions are enforced from 5:00 to 22:00 with fines of 2,074.80 to 3,112 pesos and potential impoundment for non-compliance.
• Exemptions cover vehicles with holograms 0 or 00, electric and hybrid models, public transport, emergency services and essential-support units.
• Today’s measure follows the July 7 and July 8 bans on yellow- and green-sticker vehicles under the harmonized scheme launched on July 1.
• The Double Hoy No Circula contingency is not in effect today and motorists can verify their circulation days at hoynocircula.cdmx.gob.mx.
