- The Livingston Arts Council will mount the first theatrical season at the long-closed venue in spring 2026, beginning with The Pirates of Penzance.
- Open auditions run Nov. 10–12 from 5–9 p.m. at 123 W. Grand River Ave., with Nov. 10 as an open call and sign-up slots on Nov. 11–12.
- The four announced productions are The Pirates of Penzance, Measure for Measure, Night of the Living Dead, and an original work.
- Producer-director Sam Logan Khaleghi will lead the opening show, combining some professional talent with local performers selected through the auditions.
- Organizers cite roughly $2.5 million in pledges—about $2 million from the state plus private donations—for basic repairs, while additional funds are needed for the balcony, elevator, and broader modernization ahead of rehearsals starting Jan. 6 and performances on Apr. 24–25 and May 1–2, 2026.
