- The new cast members will play the characters Fishlegs, Snotlout, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut respectively, joining Mason Thames and Nico Parker who are set to star as Hiccup and Astrid.
- Gerard Butler will reprise his role as Stoick the Vast from the animated movies, and Nick Frost will join the franchise as Gobber the Belch.
- The film is being directed, written, and produced by Dean DeBlois, who also worked on the original animated trilogy.
- The movie is set to hit theaters on June 13, 2025.
