Overview

• A 28-year-old Vale Park man was arrested about 3:20am after specialist STAR Group officers entered a Hove unit he had entered without knowing the resident.
• The pursuit began around 12:30am in Kensington Gardens when officers approached a parked car with a man and woman and the driver allegedly sped off, nearly hitting a police vehicle.
• He has been charged with offences including driving dangerously to evade police, driving while disqualified and unlawful possession, according to 7NEWS.
• South Australia Police say the woman did not sustain serious physical injuries and is receiving support.
• 7NEWS reports the man was refused bail and expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday as detectives continue their investigation.
