• Pakistan’s Foreign Office says the vessel has departed Yemeni waters and all 27 crew members are safe and in good health.
• The tanker was struck on Sept. 17 at Houthi-controlled Ras Issa, triggering an LPG tank explosion and a fire that the crew extinguished.
• Houthi boats later intercepted the ship and kept the crew aboard before releasing the vessel and allowing it to sail on.
• Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi credited Interior Secretary Khurram Agha, Ambassador Naveed Bokhari’s Oman team, officials in Saudi Arabia, and security agencies for coordinating the response.
