Houston Rallies Late to Beat Oregon State in Overtime and Move to 4-0

The late turnaround produced Houston’s best start since 2016, leaving Oregon State at its first 0-5 opening since 1996.

Stephon Johnson started UH's comeback from a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter Friday night with a touchdown catch to draw the Cougars within seven points. UH finished the comeback in overtime to beat Oregon State 27-24 in Corvallis, Ore.
