Houston Man Charged with Capital Murder After Sister and Toddler Found Fatally Stabbed

Police discovered Kendrick Rayvon Fisher asleep on the couch near the victims' bodies after a hostage report led them to the apartment.

Kendrick Rayvon Fisher, 29, has been charged with capital murder for allegedly killing his sister, Genene, 28, and her 2-year-old daughter, Karlie, in Houston.
Police responded to a report of a hostage situation at an apartment on Richmond Avenue in the early hours of November 29, 2024.
Officers found Fisher asleep on the couch and discovered the victims in the apartment with multiple stab wounds; both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Fisher, who had blood on his clothing and injuries consistent with a physical altercation, was arrested and is being held without bond in Harris County Jail.
Court records reveal Fisher's prior convictions, including a seven-year prison sentence for armed robbery, from which he was released in December 2023.
