Overview
- On June 5 Queensland Police charged James Wood and Tanika Bromley with murder and interfering with a corpse over the disappearance of 17-year-old Pheobe Bishop.
- Bishop vanished on May 15 after her housemates dropped her at Bundaberg Airport for a flight she never boarded.
- Investigators have yet to locate her remains and have declared the Gin Gin residence and the grey Hyundai ix35 used on the day as crime scenes.
- Search efforts at Good Night Scrub National Park and across the greater Gin Gin region were scaled back on June 4 but will recommence if new information emerges.
- Wood and Bromley, who were previously charged with unrelated weapons offences during vehicle and property searches, will appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Friday.
