Overview
- At about 2 am on June 20, a retaining wall collapsed in Gujjar colony of Odata revenue village in Uttarkashi’s Mori area, burying a family as they slept.
- The deceased have been identified as Ghulam Hussain, his wife Rukma Khatoon, their three-year-old son Abid and ten-month-old daughter Salma.
- Teams from the State Disaster Response Force and district administration reached the site about one kilometre above the main road to recover all four bodies.
