Lesley Wolf Accused of Interfering in Investigation, Showing Preferential Treatment

House Republicans have issued a subpoena to Lesley Wolf, an assistant U.S. attorney involved in the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden, demanding answers for what they allege is Justice Department interference in the case.
Wolf has been accused by whistleblowers from the Internal Revenue Service of 'deviating from standard investigative protocol' and showing preferential treatment because Hunter Biden is the president’s son.
Republicans claim that the Justice Department's investigation into Hunter Biden, which began in 2018, has been slow-walked and stonewalled.
Wolf is alleged to have discouraged lines of inquiry that could lead to President Biden, and asked investigators to remove any references to him from a search warrant.
The House Judiciary Committee has issued the subpoena following several refusals by the Justice Department to have Wolf give voluntary testimony.
