  • The House approved a bill 266-148 to repeal D.C.’s 2022 Local Resident Voting Rights Amendment Act and bar noncitizens from voting in local elections, with 56 Democrats joining Republicans.
  • A separate measure passed 235-178 to restore collective bargaining rights for Metropolitan Police officers and reinstate a statute of limitations on disciplinary cases.
