'House of the Dragon' Season 2: Targaryen Civil War Ignites

New Characters and Dragons Join the Fray in the Upcoming Eight-Episode Season Premiering Summer 2024

The second season of 'House of the Dragon' will see the Targaryen family conflict escalate into a full-blown civil war, known as the Dance of Dragons, following the death of Rhaenyra Targaryen's son in a dragon battle.
Season 2 will introduce several new characters, including Lord Cregan Stark, Addam of Hull, Ser Alfred Broome, Hugh, Ulf, and Ser Rickard Thorne.
The upcoming season will also feature five new dragons, adding to the chaos and devastation of the Targaryen vs. Hightower conflict.
Despite the civil war, the second season will only consist of eight episodes, indicating that the conflict will not be resolved this season.
'House of the Dragon' Season 2 is set to premiere in summer 2024.
