• The Ayuntamiento de Benalmádena ordered Hotel Vivemar closed and sealed on June 17 after the Junta de Andalucía canceled its inscription in the regional accommodation register

• Owner María José García Vargas and current management are embroiled in civil and criminal disputes over the sublease’s validity, with a Supreme Court decision expected soon
