Overview
- The Met Office forecast published on Friday says Saturday will be the warmest and sunniest day of the weekend with inland hotspots reaching the mid-to-high 20s Celsius.
- Bolton is expected to be hottest, around 27–29°C in the afternoon, while East Lancashire should see peaks of about 26–28°C.
- Coastal West Lancashire will stay noticeably cooler with daytime highs near 22–23°C and inland parts of West Lancashire around 23–25°C.
- The chance of rain is very low on Saturday but increases on Sunday when more cloud and scattered or locally sharp showers are likely.
- The Met Office also cautions that UV levels will be high around midday on Saturday, nights will stay mild at roughly 13–17°C, and short-range forecasts may change so people should plan activities accordingly.
