Hortman, Husband and Dog to Lie in State at Minnesota Capitol on June 27

The rare tribute follows the June 14 home attack in which the alleged gunman killed the Hortmans along with their dog before facing charges that could carry the death penalty

Overview

  • The caskets of Melissa and Mark Hortman and their golden retriever, Gilbert, will be on public display in the State Capitol Rotunda from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, June 27.
