Hornets Forward Miles Bridges Signs Qualifying Offer, Returns After Yearlong Absence

Miles Bridges signed a $7.9 million qualifying offer with the Charlotte Hornets for the 2023-2024 season.
Bridges will return after sitting out the 2022-23 season due to domestic violence-related charges and suspension.
Bridges pleaded no contest to one felony domestic violence charge and was sentenced to three years probation along with a 30-game suspension starting next season.
By signing the qualifying offer, Bridges will become an unrestricted free agent next summer.
The Hornets are still negotiating with restricted free agent forward P.J. Washington on a new deal.
