Honor Sets Oct. 15 China Launch for Magic 8 Phones and New Tablets, Watch, Earbuds

Honor is set to launch the Magic 8 series and new smart devices in China next week.

Overview

  • The company confirms the roster: Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro, Magic Pad 3 and Magic Pad 3 Pro, Watch 5 Pro, and Earbuds 4.
  • Magic Pad 3 Pro is officially powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with 13.3-inch and 12.5-inch displays for Pro and standard models plus quad speakers and USB-C.
  • Honor confirms Magic 8 Pro colours as Rising Sun, Velvety Black, Azure Blue and Snowy White, and teasers show a dedicated AI button.
  • Watch 5 Pro will offer sleep monitoring, sleep apnoea detection and heart rate tracking, while Earbuds 4 include USB-C and black or gold finishes.
  • Reported but not yet confirmed for the phones are Snapdragon 8 Elite chips, a 200MP-led camera setup and a 12GB RAM variant, and global availability timing remains unannounced.
