Overview

  • The 2025 list was unveiled on Oct. 8 at a live ceremony at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Cruise Terminal.
  • Mexico City’s Handshake Speakeasy placed No. 2, followed by Barcelona’s Sips (No. 3), Paradiso (No. 4) and London’s Tayēr + Elementary (No. 5).
  • This year’s list spans 29 cities, with first-time Eastern European entries including Mirror Bar in Bratislava and Nouvelle Vague in Tirana.
  • Singapore’s Jigger & Pony ranked No. 9 and Nutmeg & Clove No. 50, fewer top‑50 placements than in 2024, while Jigger & Pony’s Uno Jang won the peer‑voted Altos Bartenders’ Bartender award.
  • Results are decided by an academy of more than 800 industry experts and independently adjudicated by Deloitte for William Reed’s annual ranking, published since 2009.
