Hong Kong-Taipei Named Busiest International Flight Route of 2024

- The Asia-Pacific region dominated the rankings, with seven of the top ten international routes located in the area, including connections involving Seoul, Tokyo, and Singapore.
- South Korea's Jeju-Seoul route remained the busiest domestic route globally, offering 14.2 million seats despite a 19% decline compared to 2019.
- The busiest U.S. domestic route in 2024 was Atlanta to Orlando, with 3.5 million seats, followed closely by routes such as Honolulu-Kahului and Vegas-Los Angeles.
- The only transatlantic route in the global top ten was New York JFK to London Heathrow, which saw a 5% increase in capacity from pre-pandemic levels to 4 million seats.
