Honeywell to Acquire Carrier's Security Business for $4.95 Billion

Deal includes hardware, software and three brands, with closure expected by end of Q3 2024.

Honeywell has agreed to acquire Carrier Global Corporation's Global Access Solutions security business for $4.95 billion in an all-cash deal.
The acquisition includes both hardware and software security solutions, and three brands: LenelS2, Onity, and Supra.
Carrier's Global Access Solutions business has about 1,200 employees operating in 33 countries.
Carrier expects to net approximately $4 billion from the deal, which it plans to use to pay down debt.
The deal is expected to close by the end of the third quarter of 2024.
