Honda Unveils Fastport eQuad Electric Quadricycle for Last-Mile Logistics

Debuting at Eurobike this month, the battery-powered quadricycle is set for pilot trials with leading delivery firms across North America, Europe.

Overview

  • The Fastport eQuad comes in two compact sizes with payload capacities ranging from 320 to 650 pounds and a top speed of 12 mph to comply with bike-lane regulations.
  • Honda equips the eQuad with swappable 22-pound Mobile Power Pack batteries, a pedal-by-wire powertrain, regenerative braking and over-the-air software updates.
  • The larger model delivers a payload-dependent range of up to 23 miles per charge to support urban deliveries.
  • Honda plans to lease the eQuad via a Fleet-as-a-Service offering that streams vehicle metrics into AI-powered fleet management dashboards.
  • Production is set to begin in late 2025 at Honda’s Ohio Performance Manufacturing Center with mass rollout in summer 2026, and pilot trials with major delivery companies are under negotiation.
