Overview
- Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India launched the CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX on August 1 as part of its 25th-anniversary celebrations, expanding its two-wheeler portfolio.
- The CB125 Hornet targets young riders with a 124 cc engine that sprints from 0–60 km/h in 5.4 seconds, full LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled 4.2-inch TFT display.
- The Shine 100 DX is aimed at daily commuters and offers a 99 cc engine, an LCD screen showing real-time mileage and service reminders, and Honda’s Combined Braking System.
- Ex-showroom prices in Gurugram are set at ₹1.12 lakh for the CB125 Hornet and ₹74,959 for the Shine 100 DX, with reservations available online and through authorised dealerships.
- Deliveries of both models will begin in a phased rollout across India starting in mid-August.
