Honda Recalls Over 720,000 Vehicles Due to Fuel Pump Fire Risk

The recall affects several popular models, including the Accord, Civic, and CR-V Hybrid, due to potential fuel pump cracks.

Honda is conducting a voluntary recall of more than 720,000 vehicles in the U.S. and 61,000 in Canada due to defective high-pressure fuel pumps.
The recall involves 2023-2024 Honda Accord, 2025 Honda Civic, and 2023-2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid models.
Cracks in the fuel pump may lead to fuel leaks, increasing the risk of fire, though no injuries or incidents have been reported.
Owners will be notified by mail starting December 4, 2024, and can have their vehicles inspected and repaired for free at authorized dealers.
This is Honda's second major recall in October, following a separate recall for steering issues affecting 1.7 million vehicles.
