Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX Connect to 23,500 Tesla Superchargers

Overview

  • As of July 22, Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX owners can access more than 23,500 V3 and V4 Tesla Supercharger stations across the United States.
  • The official NACS-to-CCS adapter approved by Honda costs $225 and is available at dealerships and on the Honda DreamShop website.
  • Drivers must use the Tesla smartphone app to initiate and end charging sessions until native support is added to HondaLink and Acura EV apps.
  • Honda and Acura are developing plug-and-charge functionality for their own apps to eliminate reliance on the Tesla app.
  • The Prologue and ZDX share General Motors’ EV architecture, leveraging platforms used by the Cadillac Lyriq and Chevrolet Blazer EV.
