Honda India Recalls CBR650R and CB1000 Hornet SP Over Wiring and Oil Issues

  • Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India announced precautionary recalls for select units of both models in line with a global market action.
  • CBR650R bikes built from December 16, 2024 to May 4, 2025 may have turn-signal wiring that can rub against metal, potentially shorting and disabling lights in violation of regulations.
  • CB1000 Hornet SP units manufactured from September 30, 2024 to August 22, 2025 may show higher engine oil consumption due to a part-related condition.
  • Repairs and any required part replacements will be carried out free of charge, including for motorcycles no longer under warranty.
  • Honda has not disclosed the number of affected bikes, and owners are advised to check eligibility via the official VIN recall tool or by contacting BigWing or BigWing Topline dealers for inspection.
