Overview
- Honda launched the E-VO, its first electric motorcycle, in China on May 29 as its entry into the electric two-wheeler market.
- The neo-retro cafe racer design is paired with modern features such as integrated dashcams—front only on the 4.1 kWh model and both front and rear on the 6.2 kWh variant.
- Both battery options feed a 15.8 kW motor that delivers a top speed of 120 km/h, with the smaller pack offering 120 km of range and the larger one 170 km.
- Riders can choose Eco, Normal or Sport modes that adjust power delivery and regenerative braking, and charging takes roughly 1 hour to 2.5 hours depending on the battery.
- The 4.1 kWh model is priced at CNY 30,000 and the 6.2 kWh at CNY 37,000 as Honda prepares a dedicated EV production facility in India slated to open by 2028.
